Summary: It was all for a show, but how else could the people on Wombat's planet see which heirs lost their right to the throne? How else could the people on Wombat's decide on which knight to vote for the right to stand at the emperor's court?

Only now the current emperor has had enough. For too long he's been away from his home. So if that means personally 'preparing' the two final heirs, and make sure the knight gets proper training, then so be it. After all, it's all in the name of of love..

If you want your heart torn out of your chest and smashed to pieces, this fic will do it in the best way possible, guaranteed.

In all seriousness, though, please read this omg. It's reminiscent of extreme boot camp or stuck-in-a-correctional-facility/dystopia stories where the characters are forced to survive and adapt to the harsh new reality. Not without losing some of themselves along the way. The adventure will leave you breathless for each successive chapter!

Mixed in with incredible suspense, profound world building, and deep love throughout, this story is truly a gem within our fandom. <3
