Comments: I like writing fanfiction, especially for this fandom, all these characters feel so rule despite this being a parody. They're all dear to me and boueibu came at the right time when I needed it. My favorite thing to write is angst XD

I love talking about these magical dorks and reading about them. Meta's are awesome, this fandom is awesome, and... I don't know what else to share. Oh and I suck at HTML so this might be a bit tricky.

I'm already so confused by how to post fics here XD Do you know how to get a 'read more' like thing here? Because it keeps failing when I click on it.

Angst gives of this particular feels I guess, it's my favorite thing to write, but I don't like it when there are no happy endings tbh. My favorite parts to read/write are the hurt/comfort and fluffy moment after the angst which are so satisfying.

Hm, it is odd that the read more button wouldn't work, but under the HTML tab you can do it with

For fics, I find you can copy them over directly from Word or AO3 if you use a HTML cleaner like this one. The paragraphs might be a bit messed up but you can set it to replace <p> with <br /> and also remove </p> by replacing it with a space. That usually fixes most of it!

with that said the DW rich text editor is sorely lacking and i kinda want to kick it a bit.

Oh yeah, the relief after all that intense emotional stuff is real cathartic :D

The relief from the emotional stuff is also a relief to write. And sweet. The moment when the characters know, they've made it through this.

You can also do this in the rich text editor, which is what I use. In the post form, there should be a button that looks like three little lines with a sharp squiggle/heart rate looking line beneath that which is next to the table icon. "That" is your read more/cut button. Here are the steps:

1.) Highlight the text/fic/image you want to cut.
2.) Click the aforementioned button.
3.) It will ask you to write in a cut description.

That's it! Just make sure the text you want under the cut is now highlighted gray and you should be good to go. c:

Do I have to put the space I want under the cut in the cut description or do I leave it highlighted?

The cut description is the little prompt you get after you highlight the text you want under the cut. It's what replaces "Read More..." depending on what you type. ^^

As long as your text is highlighted gray OR is between two gray vertical lines that often show up before and after the selected text, it will automatically be under the cut. Whether you put a space before the selection is up to you, but I think the formatting is prettier that way myself... I hope that's a little clearer? ^^;
